Owner Brett Walker founded Surface with A Smile in 1986 in a small factory off Henderson Valley Road, then moved to Portage Road in New Lynn where he stayed for 31 years! Upon changing circumstances in November 2022, the business moved to 39 Veronica Street, New Lynn, where it is now headquartered. Brett’s background includes being a qualified car painter by trade who diversified into cabinetry.
Our team maybe small in numbers but deliver on skilled detail orientated people, who are true customer service professionals with our clients and take a great deal of pride in their craft.

SERVICES
We will re-spray your existing kitchen doors, drawers and end panels in a baked on two-pot lacquer finish in a colour of your choice. Our product can be applied over almost any surface except Bench Tops.

Timeline:
Once your deposit has been received, the entire process will take 2 - 3 three weeks to complete.
